Kia ora Jamaine,
Welcome to the Winter Learning Journey blogging programme! We're really happy that you've joined us this year and are looking forward to blogging with you over the holiday.
I enjoyed reading your blog post a lot. I have previously read about the population of New Zealand and the geography but I had yet to read about mateship in New Zealand. This is a really interesting and thought provoking idea. I can definitely see how experiences in the war would have brought people together. Do you think that the current population in New Zealand is still brought together by experiences from war time or by other experiences?
It's an interesting thought...
Thanks for completing your first activity and for giving us a lot to think about...
I hope that you will continue with your learning journey over the next two weeks. There are 20 other activities that you can choose from on the Winter Learning Journey website.
Cheers,
Rachel :)
