Super Challenge: The Sports Camp team had to run 4.4 kilometers. After 2.47 kilometers, they stopped for a break. How much further did the team need to run?

Challenge: The Sports Camp team had to run 5.3 kilometers. After 3.4 kilometers, they stopped for a break. How much further did the team need to run?

First of all I get 4.4 subtract 2.47 I take away 7 with 0 but I can’t because 0 has to be higher than 7 so I have to get 1 from 4 and make it 3 that 10. 10 take away 7 is 3. 3 take away 4 i can’t do it so get 1 from 4 and make it 3 again so now it 13 take away 4 that's 9. 3 take away 2 is 1 so that’s 1.93.
