Making a cloud

Jamaine 4 November 2016

1. Safety glasses-protect our eyes.

2. Wear a lab coat-protect your body/clothes.

3. Lab behaviour-appropriate behaviour to keep sale.

4. Use proper equipment ( ask if you have never used before.

5. Always clean up your mess.

Equipment
-rubbing alcohol
-bottle (plastic) -with lid
-matches

Method:

1. pour a small amount of rubbing
Alcohol into the bottle.
2. Light a match.
3. hold your bottle under the match while squeezing
4.blow out your match so it produces smoke, and release the bottle
So the smoke is sucked into the bottle.
5.Immediately close the bottle tiet with the lid.
6.Squeeze bottle as hard as possible and release-
The bottle should fill with a cloud.

Why?

1.What does the rubbing alcohol do? Rubbing alcohol refers to either isopropyl alcohol propan-2-ol or ethanol based liquids, or the comparable British Pharmacopoeia defined surgical spirit, with isopropyl alcohol products being the most widely available. They are liquids used primarily as a topical antiseptic.

2.What happens when the air in the bottle mixes with smoke? E.g. smoke released from factory chimneys if directed towards a water body or container, will it dissipate or curb pollution?  Has there been any experiments done so far?

3.What does squeezing the bottle do to the air?

Weather Questions

Unlike atmospheric particles that scatter more blue light than other colors (making the sky blue), the tiny cloud particles equally scatter all colors of light, which together make up white light. However, rain clouds are gray instead of white because of their thickness, or height.

SuperCat

One day the cat walked in the park. Then he found a man who was chasing him. The man got the cat and went to the shop and he put a suit on the cat and this gave it super powers.

The cat got his superpowers and it was lazers, strong, fire, wind. The cat went to Glen Innes School to help the children but there was one bad guy there and the cat tried to destroy him with his windy powers. The bad guy could not die from the cat so they went underground so the children didn't’ get hurt. The cat and the bad guy went to the park to fight there.

The cat used his fire power to burn him but then the bad guy used his punch. The cat did not feel anything so the cat flew up and he had lasers that shoot out of his eyes. The bad guy got hurt but he tried to get up. The cat lifted him all the way to space and when he hit the moon he died.

Everyone at Glen Innes thanked the cat for saving the school and they all had free time to celebrate.
